Simon & Schuster have released a book detailing the lives, loves and tragedies of England’s oldest family of cats in people clothes, Downton Tabby, by Chris Kelly. It is of course a delightfully fancy parody of the immensely popular Downton Abbey television drama.
Why? I hear you ask. Well everyone at Downton Abbey looks like the cat who got the cream, and furthermore, cats are of course nature’s natural upper classes, both savage and civilized, so why not?
You can read more about Downton Tabby here, and also visit the Downton Tabby tumblr, for even more pictures of cats in costume.
The book is available in hardcover and eBook.
