Olga Hughes
Olga Hughes is a historian at war with everything. She lives and works on unceded Bunurong country. She researches historical reputation, the social production of history, and how misinformation and stereotypes are disseminated through popular history. Her doctoral research focuses on the resounding impact of William Shakespeare’s The Tragedy of Richard III on King Richard III of England’s historical reputation. Olga has been published in Rethinking History and Axon: Creative Explorations.

We acknowledge the Brayakaulung people of the Gunaikurnai nation as the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we dwell, Wurruk Wurruk, and their continuing connection to land, sea, and culture.
