Olga Hughes is a historian who recently completed her Honours thesis on Shakespeare’s ‘Tragedy of Richard III’, and is continuing her PhD research on the play and its impact on Richard III’s historiography. A former chef and bookseller, she has a BFA from the Victorian College of the Arts, and a BA in History and English Literature and First Class Honours in History from Deakin University. Her research interests centre on historiography, medieval and early modern history and literature, folklore and fairy tales. She lives in Gippsland with her partner, a poet, and their cat.
