For Halloween We Present ‘A Prisoner of This Tower’

For this year’s Halloween poem I have chosen C.S. Hughes’ A Prisoner of This Tower, for the eerie connection between the verse and those who perished in the Tower of London who have been on my mind of late.

Olga Hughes has a Bachelor of Fine Art from the Victorian College of the Arts and is currently pursuing another BA in Literature and History at Deakin University. She has also contributed to websites such as History Behind Game of Thrones and The Anne Boleyn Files.
