Voyager – The Interstellar Mission

Voyager Has Not Left The Building

Contrary to recent media reports, Voyager 1, according to Nasa scientists, has not left our solar system and entered interstellar space. Voyager 1 is hurling along at around 17km per second, the fastest object ever made by humans. It should be reaching the vicinity of Gliese 445, an M Class Star in the Constellation Camelopardalis, close to Polaris, in about 40,000 years.
