TThe first two episode of season six, The Impossible Astronaut, and The Day Of The Moon, shown on the 14th of March in HD in selected Cinemas around Australia, were brillianter than fish custard on the big screen. Now if they had only edited out the credits and preview at the end of the first episode, it would have created a more substantial movie experience. Still, it had the feel of a classic adventure matinee. And if they really needed a break in the middle, to change reels or USB sticks, they could have shown a classic 1960s or 70s episode during an intermission and the evening would have been just about perfect.
