It feels like the whole world is celebrating along with The Doctor. We’ve got the 50th Anniversary episode, The Day of the Doctor, airing simultaneously worldwide. The BBC has a week full of specials for fans, and even have a mass Whovian wedding in the works.  Now the Countess of Wessex will host a reception for past and present cast and crew at Buckingham Palace on the 18th November to celebrate The Day of the Doctor. The Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall visited the Doctor Who set earlier this year, so we think they’ll be joining in the fun.

Aussies will be watching at the same time as the rest of the world. ABC has confirmed they will be airing The Day of the Doctor live, and local cinemas released tickets for 3D screenings today. Check for your closest participating cinema
