Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them director David Yates discussed the progress of the Fantastic Beasts film trilogy at the premiere of his latest film The Legend of Tarzan.

Jo has apparently finished writing the second film and has ideas in place for the final film. “No one quite has ownership of them quite yet, in terms of having a relationship with the material, other than the relationship they’ll have with the movie when it comes out. So it’s sort of lovely in a way.” David told GSN. He also discussed the difference between having to adapt the books and leave things out and working with a script that is just “pure Jo from the first page to the last page”.
