I’m going to light a candle in memory of “book” Ellaria I think. I don’t want to “spoil” anything for people who have not read the books but show Ellaria this season does seem a very different creature to her book counterpart.

I haven’t disliked EVERY change the show has made to book cannon (in Season 2 I was glad they bumped off Maester Cressen more quickly (a few minutes) than in the book (most of the prologue)). When I first watched the show I was Unsullied so things bothered me less then as I hadn’t a fixed idea of scenes in my imagination. Indira Varma is a good actress so maybe the “adaptations” to the Dorne story-line will work out. Some people say they watch the show as the show and read the books as the books so I am going to try that approach.

Dorne is going to be ludicrous. They’re so far off track with the story there I shudder to think what rubbish they will come up with.
