It’s been twelve years since Finding Nemo, and Pixar have finally released the first teaser trailer for the long-awaited sequel Finding Dory.

The sequel was delayed after the release of the harrowing documentary Blackfish, which exposed the horrible psychological affect captivity has on Seaworld’s performing orcas. The film’s conclusion has been slightly altered since. The new story sees Dory wanting to find out where she’s from, and travelling to the Jewel of Monterey, California.

Finding Dory sees the return of Ellen DeGeneres as Dory and Albert Brooks as Marlin, and Nemo will be voiced by Hayden Rolence. The Tank Gang will return (hooray!) with Willem Dafoe as Gill and Vicki Lewis as Deb. Dory’s parents will be played by Diane Keaton and Eugene Levy, Kaitlin Olson will play Destiny, Dory’s adopted sister, a whale shark and Ty Burrell will play Bailey, a beluga whale. A new character, the bad-tempered octopus Hank, will be played by Ed O’Neill and Idris Elba and Dominic West have been cast in unspecified roles.
