Star Wars: The Force Awakens has been revealed as the official title for Episode VII.

StarWars.com revealed the title today along with the announcement that production had wrapped on the film.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens, directed by JJ Abrams, will continue the story of Luke Skywalker, Leia and Han Solo 30 years after the events of Return of the Jedi.

The original stars Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Anthony Daniels, Kenny Baker and Peter Mayhew return to the series, along with new faces John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Domhnall Gleeson and Lupita Nyong’o among the new faces.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens is set for a December 18, 2015 release, probably Boxing Day in Australia. You can follow production updates at StarWars.com.
