Michael Gambon and Imelda Staunton have joined the cast for the new Paddington movie.

Michael Gambon will play Paddington’s wealthy, globe-trotting Uncle Pastuzo and Imelda Staunton will play Aunt Lucy.

The film is slated for release on November 28th in the UK (not long now!). Paddington will be voiced by the marvellous Ben Whishaw. Both Michael Gambon and Imelda Staunton have starred alongside Jim Broadbent and Julie Walters in the Harry Potter films, Jim and Julie will play Mr.Gruber and Mrs. Bird. (That’s Dumbledore, Dolores Umbridge, Professor Slughorn and Molly Weasley to us Harry Potter nerds). Downton Abbey‘s Hugh Bonneville and Blue Jasmine star Sally Hawkins as Mr. and Mrs. Brown, Nicole Kidman will be showing her Mrs Coulter-ish side playing an evil taxidermist named Millicent and our Twelfth Doctor Peter Capaldi will play Mr. Curry.
