game-of-thrones-season-threeGame of Thrones has broken piracy records, again. The Season 3 finale, Mhysa, had a record 170,000 simultaneous shares on BitTorrent.

HBO is still smiling.

“I probably shouldn’t be saying this, but it is a compliment of sorts,” said HBO programming president Michael Lombardo “It’s something that comes along with having a wildly successful show on a subscription network.”

Mhysa attracted 5.4 million live viewers, and was downloaded more than a million times in the 24-hour period after the show aired.
