In this week’s Inside the Episode Dan and Dave open with a look at Stannis and Melisandre, and what Stannis really wants from their relationship. They discuss Bran’s greenseeing abilities, and Dave points out that Bran’s most important vision in last week’s scene was the dragon flying over King’s Landing. Was that vision from the past or future? The Purple Wedding included more of the principal characters in a scene than they had ever shot before. Then Dan tries to insist that Joffrey’s death was really not a triumphal moment for the audience. The crew discusses preparations and shooting the lavish Purple Wedding in Anatomy of a Scene- The Royal Wedding, and Jack Gleeson and Peter Dinklage discuss their tense final scene. Dave and Dave reminds us to feel sorry for Joffrey again.George R.R. Martin talks about Cersei’s accusation of Tyrion poisoning her son in From Joy to Ashes and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau discusses his training with Bron in Not Pretty.
