Warner Bros. have released a full-length trailer for the upcoming Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.

The new trailer reveals that Newt Scamander was expelled from Hogwarts for endangering human lives with a beast and that Dumbledore argued against his expulsion (much like Hagrid’s story). Newt is smuggling something into New York City, but his briefcase has a “Muggle Worthy” setting, with some sort of concealment charm hiding the contents from Muggles. There are some interesting shots of 1920s New York, MACUSA headquarters and Henry Shaw’s political rally, which will see the appearance of the evil New Salem Philanthropic Society, an extremist group whose goals include exposing and killing wizards and witches.

The trailer gives us a good look at the rest of the cast. Joining Eddie Redmayne on the wizarding side of things are Colin Farrell as auror Percival Graves, Katherine Waterston as Porpentina “Tina” Goldstein, Alison Sudol as Queenie Goldstein, Carmen Ejogo as President Seraphina Picquery, President of the Magical Congress of the United States of America, Faith Wood-Blagrove as Modesty and Jenn Murray as Chastity. The Muggle, or No-Maj, characters include Dan Fogler as Jacob Kowalski, Jon Voight as Henry Shaw Sr., Samantha Morton as Mary Lou, leader of the New Salem Philanthropic Society and Ezra Miller plays her adopted son Credence. Ron Perlman plays Gnarlack, a gangster.

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them will hit cinemas on November 18th 2016. Meanwhile, here’s a Niffler.
