New Images from Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone Illustrated Edition

Bloomsbury will release the highly anticipated Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone Illustrated Edition on October 6th.

Award-winning artist Jim Kay studied Illustration at the University of Westminster and since graduating has worked in the Archives of Tate Britain and the Royal Botanic Gardens at Kew. Jim has produced concept work for television, recently working on Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell. Jim won the Kate Greenaway Medal in 2012 for his illustrations in A Monster Calls by Patrick Ness.

Two brand-new images have just been released. Here’s a new portrait of Harry.
